You can see the 'Forgot your ID or Password?' in main page.

① Click the [Forgot your ID or Password?]

② Check the 'Find Password' button on the left side of the screen.

③ Since then, click the method to find password.

④ Input the personal information.

⑤ If the information you input is correct, new password will be sent to your e-mail.


And then, you are available to log in SVPN web portal
If there is a problem with web site or vpn connection,
please take the following steps one by one.

1. Web Site Problem

  A. IE Initialization
    1) Internet options - ‘Advanced’ Tab - ‘Reset’ Click - Check 'Delete personal settings' - 'Reset' Click

  B. IE Compatibility View settings
    1) Click on the gear-like icon or Tools menu
    2) Select ‘Compatibility View Settings’
    3) Type the SVPN domain name and click on the ‘Add’ button

2. VPN Problem

  A. Disable Proxy settings
    1) Internet options - Click 'Connections' Tab - Click 'LAN settings'
    2) Turn off 'Proxy server' and 'Use automatic configuration script'

  B. Use TLS Function
    1) Internet options - Check 'advanced' Tab - 'Security' Use TLS 1.0 / 1.1 / 1.2

  C. Add 'Trusted sites'
    1) Internet options - Click 'Security' Tab - Click 'Trusted sites' - Click 'Sites'
    2) Click 'Add' button after typing '*.samsungvpn.com' in 'Add this website to the zone'

  D. Services Function Setting
    1) Go to 'Start menu' - 'Search programs and files' - Type "services.msc" - Run 'services'
    2) Right click 'Telephony' - Click 'Properties'
    3) Go to 'General' Tab - 'Startup type' - Select 'Automatic' and Apply
    4) Restart the service and other servies related with it
     ※ Related Services : Remote Access Auto Connection Manager, Remote Access Connection Manager
    5) Setting 'Automatic' and Restart these services for same process 1) ~ 3)

  E. Check to use 'Telnet' function
    1) Control Panel -> Uninstall a program -> 'Turn Windows Features on or off' Click
    2) Turn on 'Telnet Client' , 'Telnet Server'
    3) 'Start menu' - Run 'cmd' - Command 'telnet ssl2.samsungvpn.com 443'
     ※ Please refer The URL address by SVPN location
     - Korea : ssl2.samsungvpn.com, pssl2.samsungvpn.com
     - Eurasia : eussl2.samsungvpn.com, eupssl2.samsungvpn.com
     - America : usssl2.samsungvpn.com, uspssl2.samsungvpn.com
     - Southeast Asia : asssl2.samsungvpn.com, aspssl2.samsungvpn.com
     - China : cnssl2.samsungvpn.com, cnpssl2.samsungvpn.com
     - Southwest Asia : inssl2.samsungvpn.com
      ※ If PC already have been opened port 443, the cursor will blink with black screen

  F. Turn off 'Windows Firewall'
    1) Control Panel - System and Security - Windows Firewall - Click 'Turn Windows Firewall on or off'
    2) Select Turn off options and click 'OK' button

 G. Terminate zombie processes
   1) Ctrl + Alt + Delete -> Start Task Manager
   2) f5fpc.exe, f5fpclientW.exe Right click -> End Process

1. Disable UAC(User Account Control) Settings

2. Disable Proxy Server in IE

3. Add *.samsungvpn.com at Compatibility View
① Open Internet Explorer, select the Tools button, and then select Compatibility View settings.
② Under Add this website, enter the URL of the site you want to add to the list, and then select Add.

4. Install the SVPNUnifyManagerSetup.msi manually

5. Uninstall McAfee if installed

6. Check IE Internet Option
- General Tab > Browsing history > Settings > check "Every time I visit the webpage"
- Security Tab > Internet > Custom level > Reset custom settings > Reset to "Medium-low"
- Security Tab > Local Intranet > Custom level > Reset custom settings > Reset to "Low"
- Security Tab > Trusted Sites > Custom level > Reset custom settings > Reset to "Low"
- Security Tab > Trusted Sites > Sites > Add this website to the zone > Enter "*.samsungvpn.com" > Click "Add" button
- Privacy Tab > Pop-up Blocker > Uncheck "Turn on Pop-up Blocker"
- Content Tab > Certificates > Click "Clear SSL state" button
- Advanced Tab > Security > Check "Use TLS 1.0", "Use TLS 1.1", "Use TLS 1.2"

7. Reboot PC

  - SEA: Portal → RMS → Request → PUMI and Approval Request → IT → SVPN Request
  - SEF: Knox Portal → Create Approval → 1st Approver : Your Manager, 2nd Approver : Jacques LHARDY, Notification : sefitsupport@samsung.com
  - LAO: LA Portal(https://laportal.sec.samsung.net/) → Work Portal → Work PUMI Request → IT request → VPN/wifi/fileserver/backup
  - SRPOL: Knox portal → Samsung Research Portal → Biz Support → Biz Help → Call Request → Create → Security Requests → SVPN
  - SECZ : SVPN login → Service Info → Extend Use Period → SVPN Period extension application submit
